DHM x Abus

The international 'City Vibes' campaign is an ABUS initiative to change cyclists' perception and attitude towards protective headgear. Emphasizing on the design aspect, the campaign follows six urban artists from Amsterdam, Berlin, Chicago, Copenhagen, London and Paris while they project the urban culture of their city onto a ABUS helmet. We teamed up with ABUS to collaborate on the Amsterdam episode. We brought local OG Hugo Mulder a.k.a. DHM on board. The result? A sleek signature design pairing a smooth surface with embossed texture. In this mini documentary DHM gives us an insight into his meticulous process - while elaborating what it means to be an artist in Amsterdam.
